UFC 129: Georges St-Pierre vs. Jake Shields Odds
March 20, 2011
Current UFC 129 Betting Odds - Live on Saturday, April 30, 2011 the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada will host UFC 129 . UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre (21-2) will put his belt on the line for a sixth time when he faces submission ace Jake Shields (26-4-1). St-Pierre is coming off a five round domination over Josh Koscheck at UFC 124. While Shields earned his number one contender status after he defeated Martin Kampmann via split decision at UFC 121. With all the hype of a super fight between St-Pierre against Silva, I hope he doesn’t lose focus on Shields. Shields better be working on his take down defense and is ready to give St-Pierre the best performance of his career. I’m excited to see how this fight plays out.

Gsp is great but he needs that killer instinct back but i dont think that jake shields has what it takes jake is a submission specialist where as gsp is way more well rounded and has beaten the whos who of the bjj guys and the wrestlers and ran through them jake better hope gsp gets hit by a car before he gets in that ring to fight other wise gsp all the way

Love GSP but he is too smart for the super fight. He would be at a huge disadvantage to move up a weight class.. it makes no sense. Everything to lose. It would take years to put the proper muscle on and stay as efficient of a fighter, or maybe impossible. And what does it prove to Silva? That he beat a smaller guy? DW should get the idea out of his head, he is starting to get too cocky. I still cant get over his dislike of Machida- not exciting enough? Please. One of the best in the world with only 1 lost to his career(you cant count loss to Rampage, that was a joke)

2 losses. Because you can’t count Rua fight as a win, that was a joke.

Shields is gonna get his first loss in 6 years thanks to GSP. It’s simple. Shields is a great fighter but GSP is easily one of the best ever. If you don’t agree don’t bitch to me I could care less, well see what happens, but my money is totally on GSP all the way.
