UFC 106: Tito Ortiz vs. Forrest Griffin 2 Odds
October 18, 2009
Current Odds for UFC 116 Lenar vs. Carwin
Tito Ortiz vs. forrest Griffin 2 - Live on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Lesnar has been pushed back to a new date due to an illness to Lesnar. We now have Tito Ortiz vs. Forrest Griffin stepping in to take the Main Event. The return of “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” Tito Ortiz (16-6-1) back where he once was. Tito was originally facing Mark Coleman who dropped out due to injury. We will now see him face a better opponent and more exciting fight in my eyes Forrest Griffin (16-6). This will be a rematch as the two met up at UFC 59 where Tito took home a controversial split decision victory. Griffin will now get a chance to redeem himself or will Tito be a different fighter now that his back is fully healed.

Predictions for UFC 104: Machida vs. Rua
October 16, 2009
For the Main Event we have our Lyoto Machida vs. Mauricio Rua prediction page.
Cain Velasquez vs. Ben Rothwell
- For a detailed prediction of this fight visit our Velasquez vs. Rothwell prediction page.
Pats Prediction
- Big Ben Rothwell will make his UFC debut against rising HW star Cain Velasquez. This is no doubt Cain’s biggest test to date. Cain has been questioned about his chin against Cheick Kongo and I don’t believe he can take that kind of shot from Rothwell and be left standing. Cain showed his dominant wrestling and finished Kongo via unanimous decision. I’m hesitant to take Cain because he landed shot after shot on Kongo from the mount and could not stop the fight. Rothwell has tons of experience and is extremely well rounded. Rothwell was on a 13 fight win streak before losing to Andrei Arlovski at Affliction “Banned”. He then got back to his winning ways over Chris Guillen via TKO at AMMA 2. I’m a big Cain fan but I think Rothwell’s experience will be the difference in this fight. Also Rothwell is a big underdog and I would suggest laying down a bet in his favor. I have Big Ben via unanimous decision.
Josh Neer vs. Gleison Tibau
- For a detailed prediction of this fight visit our Neer vs. Tibau prediction page.
Pats Prediction
- Here we have a battle between two very good grapplers. Tibau is one of the biggest LW’s as he cuts a large amount of weight, so he will definitely have a size and strength advantage. Neer will need to avoid the takedowns and keep this fight standing where he as an advantage in the striking department. If Neer is taking down he is no slouch off his back and has submitted many opponents. Neer has plenty of knock out power and I see him catching Tibau in the second round via TKO.
Joe Stevenson vs. Spencer Fisher
- For a detailed prediction of this fight visit our Stevenson vs. Fisher prediction page.
Pats Prediction
- This is a battle between two very skilled MMA veterans. “Joe Daddy” Stevenson against Spencer “The King” Fisher. Fisher coming from the Miletich camp is much more than just a wrestler. His striking is solid and will hold an advantage over Stevenson in that department. Although Fisher is a good wrestler Stevenson is a little better and stronger in that department. If Fisher can keep this fight standing I can see him picking apart Joe Daddy. I see Fisher being hesitant looking for Stevenson to shoot and wont let his hands go as much. While Stevenson will look for his chances and take Fisher down earning points in Fisher’s guard with ground & pound. Stevenson via unanimous decision.
Anthony Johnson vs. Yoshiyuki Yoshida
- For a detailed prediction of this fight visit our Johnson vs. Yoshida prediction page.
Pats Prediction
- Starting the PPV card off we have Anthony “Rumble” Johnson taking on Japanese star Yoshiyuki “Zenko” Yoshida. Yoshida a skilled Judoka with KO power. Yoshida will most likely need to take this one to the ground to pull off a win. Johnson is an extremely athletic, fast paced fighter with heavy hands. Johnson’s wrestling back ground should be enough to stuff most of Yoshida’s take downs. I see this being a duplicate fight of Yoshida vs. Koscheck. I have Johnson winning via first round KO.
