Well, you can call him a dancing monkey but obviously the monkey smarter then the reptile. He did show off in UFC season but it was more like a citcom anyways. It was a t.v. show not the real sport. Trying to make it entertaining was all he was doing. Rashad is now one of the most humblest fighters and has the rhythm that you’d compare to a monkey. Chinese have the drunken monkey style. Animals can evade pretty much anything better then humans besides bullets. Just call Rashad an animal. One that’s one with animal instincts and agility.

Until someone beats Evans, he can be as obnoxious as he wants – he is undefeated. When he is beaten, as someday he will be, I do hope the referee is real slow to stop it when he is grounded and pounded out. That is Kharma.

I don’t think you would know what *karma is, if it slapped you in the face. Rashad may be obnoxious in your opinion–BUT– he’s not bitter like you two losers Vlad and Greg!

You know it really is sad to see you internet thugs on with your racist over tone but such is life. But it say here to speak your mind so here goes. Forrest even thou I like the guy they have been setting him up to be champ for a long time wait wait wait just think about it how many loses did he have? yes he a good fighter and puts on a great show but it wasn’t his time yet. People like to bring up how well he did with TiTo but on the real go back and look at that fight TiTO was block all his puches they where mostly arm punches but he is UFC poster boy come on think about it. Bonner would have been to if his dumb ass did take Juice. and let be real winning a belt off of leg kicks lol. And now that seem like it his bread and butter other fighter are going to start seeing that. later

Everyone wants to talk shit about Rashad but the bottom line is nobody has beaten him period. Griffin was the poster boy for the UFC and a fraud that fight against Rampage was B.S no way he won that fight. that being said I think Rampage should fight Evans next and Griffin and Liddell should go at it.

First of all you guys should stop hatin on rashad. You just don’t like him cause he’s black. He’s the best without a doubt. The next fights should be Forrest Griffin should fight Rampage again and the winner fight Rashad Evans. Then Dana White should ask Anderson silva to step up in weight class to see who’s the man.
-
Ashura on January 8th, 2009 12:54 am
Anderson silva has already fought light heavy weight… So he might as well give evens a shot. He’d be the perfect match. a technical martial artist against a freestyle fighter.

all i have to say is forest would have had him in the second round and he had rashad the entire fight until he got knocked down. I think a rematch should happen because rashad got lucky.

i actually am really fond of both these fighters. forrest is one of my favorite whiteboys because hes down to earth. rashaad is one of my favorites because, even if you dont like him, you know he can fight. i think he’ll be able to hold onto the title for a bit. i wish them both luck in their careers.

Ha ha dana white, Forrest is a fake fighter who actually isn’t that good. Glass jaw for the weak white like most of u whities have anyway. Rasah is in a class of his own and will never loose to a white man lol. Face it white dudes, you are physically weaker when it come to prize fighting of any sort.

First and foremost the amount of racism here is absurd. The whole showboating incident from the T.U.F. series that seems to be the reference point of all anti-Evans fans has been way over blown. I’m not really a advocate for what he did, but any fighter (especially boxer) knows that movements like those are often used in stand up to fake your opponent out. Secondly though severely over done he was looking for an opening on a downed opponent.
With that out of the way I’m ever happy with the out come of this fight. Griffin is cool, but was being pushed by the UFC as the “Poster Boy” way too heavily for my taste. Solid fighter, but never had the striking power to finish opponents with good chins. He implements game plans well, but if he can’t bring the fight to the limit and get a decision he’s not usually effective.
Evans on the other hand has all the physical and mental tools to finish fights and be successful; though at times he seems to get in his own way w/ his bobbing and weaving motions. If he gets more well rounded he’ll be a force for a long time. . .

I need to see a rematch between those 2 soon, forest had that fight, rashad couldnt wait for it to end, after all those leg kicks i dont blame him but he will get whats coming soon, he is just on a luck streak right now, cause anyone whos anyone knows chuck should have knocked his head off in there fight.

Stop fucking talking about racism. Just because someone talks smack about Evans doesn’t mean their racist you stupid fucks and for the record Rampage would get beat down absolutely by Rashad.

The dancing monkey thing is pretty racist, at the fact u dont call a black man a money but yea anyway, Rashad Evans stand-up is great because of his great movement and constant combinations against other fighters. He is a great intelligent fighter and has a explosive amount of energy which surprises a lot of fighters. Forrest is a good fighter but, he really doesnt have what it really takes.
The match with Rampage was a good match but could have been debated. I think Rashad is very talented and keeps getting better by the minute. If he fights Machida I hope to GOD he knocks him out or wins by decsion. I dont want Rashad to go down to soon. -
Quentin on April 18th, 2009 9:17 pm
first off, quit with all the racist bullshit. it aint about race, you can bash someone without bein a racist. second, to BIG KOOLLAY? y’all do know theres a black president in office, you ARE on top of the country, and i agree were all just people. third, Evans is a boss and theres no denying it. Forrest is good, but Evans got him and theres no two ways about it. i want to see Rampage and Evans go at it, they are both great strikers and i think it would be one hell of a good fight. i also agree with whoever said Forrest should fight Liddell, that would also be a good fight and it will show which one still has a shot at regaining the title. frankly, i would like to see Evans remain undefeated and hold the title for a while, an undefeated champ is rare and i dont want to see it go so soon.

To bring some sense to this besides ignorant racist remarks, there are many types of skeletal muscle, two being red and white (mmm….clam chowda…). Red muscle is great for aerobic endurance, the muscles can work for a long time before getting tired. White muscle is used in short, strong bursts, but tire more rapidly. Black people tend to have more white muscle (ironic), thus giving them more explosiveness. White people tend to have more red muscle, thus giving them more endurance. There are obviously more factors that can change one’s overall endurance or explosiveness, and this is only one of them, but it explains a lot.

everyone is forgetting that Tito beat both of these fighters, Tito officially drew w/ Evans but that was because he held onto the fence, if it werent for that he would have won. sure Evans is great and Forrest is the UFC poster boy both they leave it all out in the ring. unless you do that too, in front of millions of people, then you cant criticize
-
what? on May 17th, 2009 9:20 pm
I’m not an Evans fan, but his fight went to a draw with Tito because Tito clutched the fence on many occassions. Tito did NOT beat Rashad, In fact Tito had two choices: either Tito could lose points and grab the fence or he could let Rashad gain more points by being thrown onto the grownd. Either way it would have been a draw!

IN MY OPINION , forest was a bit too careless in this fight, he was throwing too many unecessary head kicks, when he knew rashad had already figured out his pattern. Thats when rashad started smiling and answering back with a few punches and kicks with his own and griffin was over welmed.

rashad and forrest are both overrated. they are strikers, not fighters. you can’t compare them to guys like GSP, anderson silva, couture, machida, etc.

This site is great, I love it. I am just a little bummed that the dancing monkey won. How can anyone forget how he showboated in his Ultimate Fighter season? I can’t.
