CB Dolloway vs. Mike Massenzio
In another featured undercard bout, recent Ultimate Fighter finalist and world-renowned narcissist CB Dolloway will be pitted against another relative UFC newcomer, IFL and ROC veteran Mike Massenzio.
Massenzio was impressive in his UFC debut, submitting Drew McFederies in a minute and a half. Dolloway, on the other hand, has a lot to prove even after his submission victory over Jesse Taylor, after falling victim to two identical Amir Sodollah armbars.
Both Massenzio and Dolloway do their best work on the ground, so there is hardly any doubt that is where this fight will end up. Dolloway is the more impressive physical specimen, and has by far better wrestling, but he is also prone to overconfidence and laxity during his fights. That could prove a fatal error against Massenzio, who has slick submissions from his back. Still, after his two submission losses to Sodollah, it is a safe bet that Dolloway has been training his submission defense rigorously.
In the end, Dolloway’s wrestling and superior strength should be enough to get him the unanimous decision win.

Hey Pat, in comment to your article on Massenzio vs. Dolloway, I wouldn’t say that Dolloway is by far the better wrestler, being that he was Massenzio’s only loss in the JUCO national championships, leaving Massenzio’s record a horrible 81-1. So to say that Dolloway is by far the better wrestler is a stretch. I’ve had the pleasure of training with Massenzio at Jerry Jones Ultimate Martial Arts in Nutley, NJ, where he received a black belt in free-style jui-jitsu. I’ve rolled with this guy and he is an absolute specimen. It’s actually beautiful to watch him grapple because his movements are so eloquent they seem effortless, like water. I strongly believe Massenzio will win this fight.
