Kimbo Slice knock out by Seth Petruzelli Video

October 5, 2008

After a weird evening with Ken Shamrock having to pull out of his fight with Kimbo Slice, the man by the name of Seth Petruzelli stepped up to take the fight.  Kimbo agreed and the fight was on…..for 14 seconds.

REMATCH REMATCH REMATCH….first of all kimbo should have never took the fight, he was trauning to fight a shamrock,a washed up shamrock at that.and its bullshit that he was in jeoparady of losing his sponsor,he dont need a sponsor,he started out with no sponsor,Kimbo is a great example of a true fighter,no training or anything just pure instinct so on that note screw you sponsor you obviously dont know real raw talent when you see it Kimbo will be back taking out everyone who stands in his way and when he does and mr.sponsor wants him back i hope he knocks them the fuck out.so keep your head up kimbo keep training and come back and kick some ass thats your ring and no one elses

tom lobsinger you are a complete idiot if you believe anything you just wrote. Kimbo is the biggest joke ever to step foot into the cage. He is nothing but a street thug who has been overhyped by the media as a real MMA fighter. He is not even in the top 200 MMA fighters and will never be. He has no raw talent, just a bunch of media crap that has buillt an image of a great fighter who has no real talent. He was beaten by someone who even stepped out of MMA for a year and no one even knows. The Kimbo bullshit is over and it’s about time. Go jump off a bridge you idiot.

Wow. I’m more amazed with the caliber of intelligence in these posts than with the actual story and video. And yes, I’m talking mainly to you, Tom Lobsinger.

  8. John Stamos on October 5th, 2008 11:38 pm

He was hit in the back of the head twice, it should’ve been stopped so he could compose himself… but whatever, the dude in the pink hair was fighting on the defense, and obviously didn’t want to get hit

  11. omnipotent speck on October 6th, 2008 10:08 pm

    Dive.

Look at it this way: When Petruzelli stepped into the ring to sub for Shamrock, the odds would have went right through the freakin’ roof, right? There’s no way he could have beaten life-long grappler Shamrock, as old as he is (Kimbo’s age?), and he knew it. Have your homies make the bet for you, take the dive, retire rich and live like fat rats.

  12. Mild Freak on October 7th, 2008 3:37 am

He got knocked the FUCK OUT

Kimbo is nothing but a street thug and he showed his true fighting ability there.

  13. Scoobysteven on October 8th, 2008 12:48 pm

Omnipotent Speck, I also considered your suggestion, that Slice had his “homies” place a bet then took a dive, but it does not seem possible. Vegas had not established odds for this fight, being that it was a sudden change, nobody could or would accept bets absent established odds. If he would have shaved the stupid shit on his face, the punch might have glanced off.

I think that kimbo is a good boxer he’s a big hard hitting dude but he does need more Ju jitsu Skills and submission skills he shouldnt really rely on just boxing cuz in MMA u fight guys that are all well rounded fighters and I honestly think they basicly let him win the last few fights to hipe his name cuz if u watched the past few fights he had in Elite Xc they look set up like his first fight the guy just went down and covered his head and basicly gave up it seems like Elite XC is turning into wrestling where they set up whos suppose to win to make the media better for the fighter I think UFC is alil more stricked on how people fight to because kimbo did get hit in the back of the head a few times if u do that in UFC the Ref warns u once then he pulls u aside and tells u one more time and im taken points off so Im starten to think they set up kimbos fights like wresting does cuz id woulve honestly like to see kimbo fight someone well rounded like Rampage or Nogara or Frank Mir or Tito Ortiz cuz the only dude i think gave kimbo a good fight was that big dude that his ear popped then they canceled the fight cuz of it i think he made kimbo work in that fight other then that i think kimbo could make alot of money doing this if he finds a better well rounded trainer and books better fights Cuz Elite XC doesnt have there shit straight that dudes there money maker right now and they fucked it up

I think that is the longest sentence I’ve ever seen in my life.

I don’t think a lot about Kimbo thats good or bad, he’s just a squirrel trying to get his nut, and if someone’s guilty of spicing him up with pork it’s EliteXC and CBS. He never claimed to be the best fighter be any means. I have to say though, that was really a freak punch that put him down. Seth was on the back-pedal and he even cringed as he threw that punch cause he thought he was about to get hit. Good fighters don’t cringe. He just popped Kimbo in the right spot on the jaw. Seth was saying that the reason that Kimbo wasn’t ever knocked down in a street fight was cause trained MMA fighters don’t just throw “arm punches” but they put their wight into into it and use their hips, did it look like Seth did that? He’s taking alot credit for a lucky punch. I think a rematch is definitely called for. What I don’t understand though, is why was the Cyborg match not aired? (if it was and i missed it somehow never mind, but i don’t think i did) I wanted to see her beat the crap out of that little Japanese girl. (She did take the beating like a man thought, give her credit for that.) Also Carono and Cyborg is gonna be a great match and has the potential to be a money maker for EliteXC. Thats why I don’t understand why it wasn’t aired. They should really try to expose Carano and especially Cyborg and really hype this fight between the best females in MMA. Thats the one thing EliteXC does have. They should put that fight and the Siverback- Kimbo rematch on the same card. As well as trying to get a decent Welterweight that Jake Shields can’t just crawl on top off. I saw some major holes in his striking game in that Baley match though. He’s good, but he’s not even close to GSP in my opinion. When he runs into a fighter that can keep it on the feet he’ll be in trouble. What’s Kimbo’s future? I think that if he keeps it with it, he could be a very talented fighter someday. He needs time to develop as a martial artist.

that mother fucker got a lucky hit on kimbo, he would have been out with one hit if kimbo would have had the chance………………thats what i have to think about that

  18. hammer to the head on October 16th, 2008 5:14 pm

as John Stamos said: he was hit in the back of the head at least twice. once with a hammer. based on rules the ref should have stopped and let him recover. yes, the knock down was legit, but the rest stunk. that said, kimbo will probably come back a stronger fighter, he will probably learn to keep his guard up and not be so damn square to his opponent.

  19. fuckallyallhaters on October 20th, 2008 9:42 am

Kimbo is a Real fighter, will stand up and go toe to toe bare knuckle with anyone in the street. That’s what i am a fan of. makes MMA fighters look like pusses! Yes the ring is a whole other monster, should Kimbo be there? don’t know. But i like him!

  20. IllegalIntervention on November 20th, 2008 9:08 pm

first of all Kimbo is a punk in the mma world…nuff said about that….kudos for taking a catch fight last minute but bad idea anyways…..on the terms of the knockout, decent hit not a one hit KO after watching the slowmo a few times seth is lucky he wasn’t DQ with the 3-4 shots to the back of the head he gave him including the hammer fist to the back of the neck which in most mma rule sets is auto DQ….all said he showed everyone what we already knew, kimbo won his fights with intimidation and hype not skill or training…he belongs in the ghetto fighting for street cred not in a cage getting beat up by hasbeens and upstarts, put him in the ring with a current top 25 in his weight class and he would get ground and pound or submitted first round easy, if not knockout much in the same way.

  21. AA on January 30th, 2009 2:58 pm

the ref really sucks – that was back of the head hammerfist… Kimbo should come back, and be more careful next fight. Good luck to him… I agree – that punch from Seth was pitiful – nothing behind it.

Got something to say?
